  • Most adult players will be 18 to 45 years old, however no age restriction.
  • Most all players will have played since childhood through competitive High School, some will have played JR and/or collegiate D3 or college Intramural levels.
  • Requirements / expectations: level of play is on pace with what you would expect to see at a high school varsity game.
"B" Division / AKA “Intermediate League”:
  • This level is intended for players with higher to an advanced skill set. Skilled level of play, but not as fast as “A” / competitive.
  • Most adult players will be 30 -50 years old, however no age restriction.
  • Most all players will have played various levels of youth hockey and or competitive High School, few may have played collegiate levels.
  • Requirements: must be able to skate with higher proficiency and have an increased level knowledge of the game (i.e. positioning, break out, strategy, etc).
"C" Division / AKA “Novice League”:
  • This level is intended for players with lower to a medium level skill set.
  • Most adult players will be 35 - 55 years old, however no age restriction.
  • This division is primarily comprised of players who have limited youth playing experience or several years playing organized hockey as an adult.
  • Requirements: must be able to skate proficiently, pass, carry the puck and a have some knowledge of the game (i.e. positioning, strategy, etc)
"D" Division / AKA “Developmental League”:
  • This level is intended for newer players with limited hockey experience who want to develop the required skills to be able to play and compete in the other divisions.
  • Most players will be mid-aged adults looking for an entry level adult hockey league offering.
  • This division is NOT meant as supplement to the “C” / Novice league, but as an offering for those newer to the game or previously found themselves at the lower end of the “C” Division and are looking for a slower alternative or environment to focus on bettering their game skills.
  • Requirements: Prior skating experience is a must. Please note this is NOT a learn to skate program. The D division will consist of practice drills and scrimmages to provide players improved skills as well as a better sense of the game (i.e. positioning, strategy, etc).

Every effort is made to honor team requests and keep players with the same team (unless requested otherwise). OCHL reserves the right to adjust team rosters for balanced teams in each division.

If you did not play in OCHL last Fall/Winter season, please register as a "new player."

No Subs - only rostered players that have completed the registration and have paid their fees are eligible to play in OCHL.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will be closed when participation reaches 15 skaters + goalie per team  - Don’t wait!!

Team drafts will take place in September.  Schedules and team assignments will be available via the OCHL web page and Facebook page.
